All you can eat in exciting and inviting environments
Copenhagen has made a good name for itself in food circles. Not least famous restaurants such as Alchemist, Noma and Geranium have given the city a reputation for delicious and exciting food. But much of the good stuff is also available around the city at various food markets. And the range impresses and provides variety. Therefore, the food markets are an excellent way to get in touch with food experiences with simple means. So take a look at some of my food finds for 2024.
Reffen
Reefen is a really cool area built mostly from old shipping containers. but the really nice thing is all the food from all corners of the world. And the area is large, so there is really a lot to discover here. Yes, you can even eat on a prepared sandy beach.
Refshalevej 67
Broens street food
Just across the bridge from Nyhavn you will find Broens food market. It’s not very big but offers a number of vendors with really exciting food. So with this central location, it’s a perfect stopover on your way through Copenhagen.
Strandgade 95
Torvhallerne
At Israel plads in Nørrebro you can taste a variety of Danish specialties as well as international ones. And here, everything is under orderly conditions, the two large halls are created specifically for food.
Fredriksborgsgade 21
Kajen, Fisketorvet
After a few years of construction work, the food market Kajen has now opened at the shopping center Fisketorvet. And here it is not shy. Because on several floors, all kinds of goodies are offered, which can be enjoyed with a beautiful view of the canal.
Havneholmen 5
Tivoli food hall
Right next to the Tivoli fairground, 15 different eateries offer their specialties. And here it is the highest quality that counts. Yes, you can hardly visit this place without tasting something mighty good.
You will most likely pass through here when you visit Copenhagen.
