So it’s time for another year in Copenhagen. And as in previous years, we will celebrate with pictures what happens here in the coming months. Snowboarding down by the canal
With January often comes the first snow. Down by the canal, some creative snowboarders have arranged a ramp of scraped snow. And to get the speed up, a construction of wooden pallets has been set up. Then it’s just to have fun with the rail!
And then winter finally came
It took a while for winter to arrive this time. It was February before a massive snowfall hit. But as always, it doesn’t last long before it melts away…

When nature gives back
First the real summer heat came to Copenhagen and with it strong gusts of wind. One of Denmark’s largest wind turbines was hit the hardest, losing one of its wings.
Graffiti city
Serious graffiti artists gather next to the circus building in Copenhagen. Spray cans, beer bottles, and sunshine are all that’s needed to make the day complete.
